İşlerin Zorlaştığı Zaman Okuduğu Dua

Allah’ım, kendimle ilgili, daha çok senin elinde  olan bir iş (nefsimi ıslah) ile beni yükümlü kılmışsın. Oysa ona da, bana da benden çok senin gücün yeter. O halde, kendimle ilgili, seni benden hoşnut edecek şeyi ver bana, ve hoşnutluğuna sebep olacak şeyi sıhhat ve selamet içinde kendin için al benden.

Allah’ım, zorluğa katlanacak takatım, belaya sabredecek gücüm, yoksulluğa dayanacak kudretim yok. O halde, rızkımı esirgeme benden; kullarına terketme beni; hacetimi sen gider; işlerimi sen üstlen. Rahmet gözüyle bana bak ve tüm işlerimde, acıyarak yardım et bana. Çünkü eğer beni kendi halime terketsen, tüm işlerde âciz kalırım; yararıma olan hiçbir işi yapamam. Kullarına terketsen, asık suratlarıyla karşılaşırım. Yakınlarıma bıraksan, bir şey vermezler bana. Verseler de, az ve faydasız şeyler verirler; uzun süre de başıma kakarlar, çokça kınarlar beni.

O halde, ey Allah’ım, fazlınla beni zengin et; büyüklüğünle beni yücelt; bol bağışınla elimi açık kıl ve katındakiyle yet bana.

Allah’ım, Muhammed ve âline salat eyle ve beni hasetten kurtar; günahlardan koru; haramlardan geri durdur; sana karşı gelmeye cüretlendirme; tutkum sen olasın; senden gelen her şeye rıza göstereyim. Rızk, ihsan ve nimet olarak bana verdiğin şeyleri bereketli ve kutlu kıl. Tüm hallerimde beni her türlü kötülükten koru; ayıplarımı kimseye açma; beni kendi korumana al, kimse bana zarar veremesin.

Allah’ım, Muhammed ve âline salat eyle ve bedenimin gücü yetmese de, kuvvetim yetersiz kalsa da, gücümü aşsa da, malım ve sermayem çıkışmasa da, hatırımda olan veya unuttuğum, itaatin yönünde kendin için veya yaratıklarından biri için bana gerekli ve farz kıldığın her şeyi benden taraf öde. Ey Rabbim, nefsime uyarak ihmal ettiğim, ancak senin, aleyhimde ihsa ettiğin farzları bol bağışınla ve geniş rahmetinle benden taraf öde (onlardan dolayı beni sorgulama). Çünkü sen, ihsanı ve rahmetiyle her şeyi kuşatan cömertsin. (Onları benden taraf öde ki,) Sana kavuşacağım gün iyiliklerimle takas edeceğin veya kötülüklerimi arttıracağın bir farz üzerimde kalmış olmasın, ey Rabbim.

Allah’ım, Muhammed ve âline salat eyle ve sana kulluk vazifesini yerine getirmekle ahiretim için çalışma isteği ver bana. Onun (kulluğumun) içtenliğine kalbim tanık olsun; bana galip olan durum dünyaya meyilsizlik olsun; iyi işleri şevkle yapayım; cezalarının korkusuyla kötü işlere yaklaşmayayım. Ve bana bir nur ver ki, insanlar arasında onunla yürüyeyim; karanlıklarda onunla yolumu bulayım; hak ile batıl bir-birine karıştığında, şüpheye düştüğümde onunla aydınlanayım.

Allah’ım, Muhammed ve âline salat eyle ve kendisine ulaşmak için sana yalvardığım şeyin (cennetin) tadını ve kendisinden korunmak için sana sığındığım şeyin (cehennemin) tasasını duyuyormuşçasına, ödüllendirilme sevincinin özlemini ve cezalandırılma      üzüntüsünün korkusunu ver bana.

Allah’ım, hiç kuşkusuz, sen, dünyam için de, ahiretim için de yararlı olanı biliyorsun. O halde, ihtiyaçlarım hususunda lütufkâr ol bana.

Allah’ım, Muhammed ve âline salat eyle ve kolaylık ve zorlukta, sağlık ve hastalıkta bana verdiğin nimetler karşısında sana şükürde kusur ettiğim zaman; korku, emniyet, hoşnutluk, gazap, zarar ve kâr hallerinde meydana gelen hadiselerle ilgili olarak senin   için farz olan şeye razı olmanın sevinç ve huzurunu yaşayabilmek için gerçeği ver bana.

Allah’ım, Muhammed ve âline salat eyle ve göğsümü hasetten temizle ki, insanlardan hiçbirini kendisine verdiğin bir nimetten ötürü kıskanmayayım; onlardan herhangi birinde din, dünya, sağlık, takva, zenginlik ve refahla ilgili bir nimet gördüğüm zaman (onu kıskanacağıma) ondan daha iyisini yalnız seninle ve yalnız senden -ki ortağın yoktur- kendim için isteyeyim.

Allah’ım, Muhammed ve âline salat eyle ve bana dünya ve ahirette, hoşnutluk ve gazap halinde hatalardan korunmayı, sürçmelere duçar olmamayı nasip et. Her halükârda itaatinle amel etmeye, dostların ve düşmanların hakkında senin hoşnutluğunu diğer her şeye tercih etmeye muvaffak et beni. Düşmanım, zulüm ve cevrimden güvende olsun; dostum eğilim ve tutkumun alçalmasından ümidini kessin.

(Allah’ım,) Beni genişlikte de, zor durumda kalıp ihlas ile sana yalvaranların yalvardığı gibi yalvaranlardan kıl. Hiç kuşkusuz, sen pek yücesin, övgüye layıksın.

His Supplication in Hardship, Effort, and Difficult Affairs

O God,
          Thou hast charged me concerning myself
                    with that which belongs more to Thee than to me.
          Thy power over it and over me is greater than my power,
                     so give me in myself
                               what will make Thee pleased with me
                     and take for Thyself
                               Thy good pleasure in my self's well-being!

O God,
          I have
                    no endurance for effort,
                    no patience in affliction,
                    no strength to bear poverty.
          So forbid me not my provision
                    and entrust me not to Thy creatures,
          but take care of my need alone
                    and Thyself attend to sufficing me!

          Look upon me and look after me in all my affairs,
                    for if Thou entrustest me to myself,
                              I will be incapable before myself
                              and fail to undertake that in which my best interest lies.
                    If Thou entrustest me to Thy creatures,
                              they will frown upon me,
                    and if Thou makest me resort to my kinsfolk,
                              they will refuse to give to me;
                    if they give,
                              they will give little and in bad temper,
                                        making me feel long obliged
                                        and blaming me much.

          So through Thy bounty, O God,
                              free me from need,
                    through Thy mightiness,
                              lift me up,
                    through Thy boundless plenty,
                              open my hand,
                    and with that which is with Thee,
                              suffice me!

O God,
          bless Muhammad and his Household,
           rid me of envy,
          encircle me against sins,
          make me abstain from things unlawful,
          give me not the boldness of disobedient acts,
          assign me love for that which is with Thee
                    and satisfaction with that which comes to me from Thee,
           bless me in
                    that which Thou providest me,
                     that which Thou conferrest upon me,
                     and that through which Thou favourest me,
           and make me in all my states
                    safeguarded, watched,
                    covered, defended,
                    given refuge, and granted sanctuary!

O God,
          bless Muhammad and his Household
           and let me accomplish everything which
                              Thou hast enjoined upon me
                               or made obligatory for me toward Thee,
                               in one of the ways of Thy obedience,
                               or toward one of Thy creatures,
                     though my body be too frail for that,
                               my strength too feeble,
                               my power not able to reach it,
                               and my possessions and what my hand owns
                                         not encompass it,
                    and whether I have remembered it or forgotten it.

          It, my Lord, is among that which Thou hast counted against me
                    while I have been heedless of it in myself.
          Let me perform it
                    through Thy plentiful giving
                     and the abundance which is with Thee
                     - for Thou art Boundless, Generous - so that nothing of
                     it may remain against me,
                     lest Thou wouldst wish
                               to settle accounts for it from my good deeds
                              or to compound my evil deeds
                                        on the day I meet Thee, my Lord!

O God,
          bless Muhammad and his Household
          and provide me with desire to serve Thee
                    for the sake of my state in the hereafter,
          such that I know the truthfulness of that [desire] in my heart,
                    be dominated by renunciation while in this world,
                    do good deeds with yearning,
                    and remain secure from evil deeds in fright and fear!
          And give me a light whereby I may walk among the people,108
                    be guided in the shadows,
                    and seek illumination in doubt and uncertainty!

O God,
          bless Muhammad and his Household
          and provide me with fear of the threatened gloom
                     and yearning for the promised reward,
           such that I may find
                     the pleasure of that for which I supplicate Thee
                    and the sorrow of that from which I seek sanctuary in Thee!

O God,
          Thou knowest what will set my affairs right
                    in this world and the next,
          so be ever gracious toward my needs!

O God,
           bless Muhammad and Muhammad's Household
           and provide me with what is Thy right
                    when I fall short in thanking Thee
                    for that through which Thou hast favoured me
                              in ease and difficulty,
                              health and sickness,
          such that I may come to know in myself
                     repose in satisfaction
                     and serenity of soul
                              in that which Thou hast made incumbent upon me
                              in whatever states may occur:
                                        fear and security,
                                        satisfaction and displeasure,
                                        loss and gain!

O God,
          bless Muhammad and his Household
          and provide me with a breast safe from envy,
          such that I envy none of Thy creatures
                    and in anything of Thy bounty
           and such that I see none of Thy favours
          toward any of Thy creatures
                              in religion or this world,
                              well-being or reverential fear,
                              plenty or ease,
                    without hoping for myself better than it
                              through and from Thee alone,
                              who hast no associate!

O God,
          bless Muhammad and his Household
           and provide me in this world and the next
                    with caution against offenses
                     and wariness against slips
                     in the state of satisfaction and wrath,
          such that I may
                    remain indifferent toward that which enters upon me
                               from the two states,109
                    work toward Thy obedience,
                    and prefer it and Thy good pleasure over all else
                              in both friends and enemies.
                    Then my enemy may stay secure
                              from my wrongdoing and injustice
                    and my friend may despair
                              of my inclination
                              and the bent of my affection.

Make me one of those who supplicate Thee with sincerity in ease
                    with the supplication of those
                    who supplicate Thee with sincerity in distress!
           Verily Thou art Praiseworthy, Glorious.

  وَكانَ مِنْ دُعائِهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ عِنْدَ الشِّدَّةِ وَالْجَهْدِ وَتَعَسُّرِ الاُْمُورِ

أَللّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ كَلَّفْتَني مِنْ نَفْسي ما أَنْتَ أَمْلَكُ بِهِ مِنّي، وَقُدْرَتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىَّ أَغْلَبُ مِنْ قُدْرَتي، فَأَعْطِني مِنْ نَفْسي ما يُرْضِيكَ عَنّي، وَخُذْ لِنَفْسِكَ رِضاها مِنْ نَفْسي في عافِيَة.

أَللّهُمَّ لا طاقَةَ لي بِالْجَهْدِ، وَلا صَبْرَ لي عَلَى الْبَلاءِ، وَلا قُوَّةَ لي عَلَى الْفَقْرِ، فَلا تَحْظُرْ عَلَىَّ رِزْقي، وَلا تَكِلْني إِلى خَلْقِكَ، بَلْ تَفَرَّدْ بِحاجَتي، وَتَوَلَّ كِفايَتي، وَانْظُرْ إِلَىَّ، وَانْظُرْ لي في جَميعِ أُمُوري، فَإِنَّكَ إِنْ وَكَلْتَني إِلى نَفْسي عَجَزْتُ عَنْها، وَلَمْ أُقِمْ ما فيهِ مَصْلَحَتُها، وَإِنْ وَكَلْتَني إِلى خَلْقِكَ تَجَهَّمُوني، وَإِنْ أَلْجَأْتَني إِلى قَرابَتي حَرَمُوني، وَإِنْ أَعْطَوْا أَعْطَوْا قَليلاً نَكِداً، وَمَنُّوا عَلَىَّ طَويلاً وَذَمُّوا كَثيراً. 

فَبِفَضْلِكَ اللّهُمَّ فَأَغْنِني، وَبِعَظَمَتِكَ فَأَنْعِشْني، وَبِسَعَتِكَ فَابْسُطْ يَدي، وَبِما عِنْدَكَ فَاكْفِني.

أَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، وَخَلِّصْني مِنَ الْحَسَدِ، وَاحْصُرْني عَنِ الذُّنُوبِ، وَوَرِّعْني عَنِ الْمَحارِم، وَلا تُجَرِّئْني عَلَى الْمَعاصي، وَاجْـعَلْ هَـواىَ عِنْدَكَ، وَرِضـاىَ فيما يَرِدُ عَلَىَّ مِنْكَ، وَبارِكْ لي فيما رَزَقْتَني وَفيما خَوَّلْتَني، وَفيما أَنْعَمْتَ بِهِ عَلَىَّ، وَاجْعَلْني في كُلِّ حالاتي مَحْفُوظاً، مَكْلُوءاً، مَسْتُوراً، مَمْنُوعاً، مُعاذاً، مُجاراً.

أَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، وَاقْضِ عَنّي كُلَّ ما أَلْزَمْتَنيهِ، وَفَرَضْتَهُ عَلَىَّ لَك في وَجْه مِنْ وَجْوهِ طاعَتِكَ، أَوْ لِخَلْق مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، وَإِنْ ضَعُفَ عَنْ ذلِكَ بَدَني، وَوَهَنَتْ عَنْهُ قُوَّتي، وَلَمْ تَنَلْهُ مَقْدُرَتي، وَلَمْ يَسَعْهُ مَالي، وَلاذاتُ يَدي، ذَكَرْتُهُ أَوْ نَسيتُهُ، هُوَ يا رَبِّ مِمّا قَدْ أَحْصَيْتَهُ عَلَىَّ، وَأَغْفَلْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ نَفْسي، فَأَدِّهِ عَنّي مِنْ جَزيلِ عَطِيَّتِكَ، وَكَبيرِ ما عَِنْدَكَ، فَإِنَّكَ واسِعٌ كَريمٌ، حَتّى لا يَبْقى عَلَىَّ شَىْءٌ مِنْهُ تُريدُ أَنْ تُقاصَّني بِهِ مِنْ حَسَناتي، أَوْ تُضاعِفَ بِهِ مِنْ سَيِّئاتي يَوْمَ أَلْقاكَ يا رَبِّ.

أَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، وَارْزُقْنِي الرَّغْبَةَ فِي الْعَمَلِ لَكَ

لاِخِرَتي، حَتّى أَعْرِفَ صِدْقَ ذلِكَ مِنْ قَلْبي، وَحَتّى يَكُونَ الْغالِبُ عَلَىَّ الزُّهْدَ في دُنْياىَ، وَحَتّى أَعْمَلَ الْحَسَناتِ شَوْقاً، وَآمَنَ مِنَ السَّيِّئاتِ فَرَقاً وَخَوْفاً، وَهَبْ لي نُوراً أَمْشي بِهِ فِي النّاسِ، وَأَهْتَدي بِهِ فِي الظُّلُماتِ، وَأَسْتَضيءُ بِهِ مِنَ الشَّكِّ وَالشُّبُهاتِ.

أَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، وَارْزُقْني خَوْفَ غَمِّ الْوَعيدِ، وَشَوْقَ ثَوَابِ الْمَوْعُودِ، حَتّى أَجِدَ لَذَّةَ ما أَدْعُوكَ لَهُ، وَكَأْبَةَ ما أَسْتَجيُر بِكَ مِنْهُ.

أَللّهُمَّ قَدْ تَعْلَمُ ما يُصْلِحُني مِنْ أَمْرِ دُنْياىَ وَآخِرَتي، فَكُنْ بِحَوائِجي حَفِيّاً.

أَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد، وَارْزُقْنِي الْحَقَّ عِنْدَ تَقْصيري فِي الشُّكْرِ لَكَ، بِما أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ في الْيُسْرِ وَالْعُسْرِ، وَالصِّحَّةِ وَالسَّقَمِ، حَتّى أَتَعَرَّفَ مِنْ نَفْسي رَوْحَ الرِّضا، وَطُمَأْنينَةَ النَّفْسِ مِنّي بِما يَجِبُ لَكَ، فيما يَحْدُثُ في حالِ الْخَوْفِ وَالاَْمْنِ، وَالرِّضا وَالسُّخْطِ، وَالضُّرِّ وَالنَّفْعِ.

أَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، وَارْزُقْني سَلامَةَ الصَّدْرِ مِنَ الْحَسَدِ، حَتّى لا أَحْسُدَ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ عَلى شَىْء مِنْ فَضْلِكَ،

وَحَتّى لا أَرى نِعْمَةً مِنْ نِعَمِكَ عَلى أَحَد مِنْ خَلْقِكَ في دين أَوْ دُنْيا، أَوْ عافِيَة أَوْ تَقْوى، أَوْ سَعَة أَوْ رَخاء، إِلاّ رَجَوْتُ لِنَفْسي أَفْضَلَ ذلِكَ بِكَ وَمِنْكَ، وَحْدَكَ لا شَريكَ لَك.

أَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، وَارْزُقْنِي التَّحَفُّظَ مِنَ الْخَطايا، وَالاِْحْتِراسَ مِنَ الزَّلَلِ فِي الدُّنيا وَالاْخِرَةِ، في حالِ الرِّضا وَالْغَضَبِ، حَتّى أَكُونَ بِما يَرِدُ عَلَىَّ مِنْهُما بِمَنْزِلَة سَواء، عَامِلاً بِطاعَتِكَ، مُؤْثِراً لِرِضاكَ عَلى ماسِواهُما فِي الاَْوْلِياءِ وَالاَْعْداءِ، حَتّى يَأْمَنَ عَدُوِّي مِنْ ظُلْمي وَجَوْري، وَيَيْأسَ وَلِيّي مِنْ مَيْلي وَانْحِطاطِ هَواىَ.

وَاجْعَلْني مِمَّنْ يَدْعُوكَ مُخْلِصاً فِي الرَّخاءِ، دُعاءَ الْمُخْلِصينَ الْمُضْطَرّينَ لَكَ فِي الدُّعاءِ، إِنَّكَ حَميدٌ مَجيدٌ.
